Director General of the Agency functions

is to oversee and coordinate all activities related to the beautification, greening, and environmental enhancement of urban areas in Kano State. Specifically, the office is responsible for:

1. Planning and Supervision of landscaping and beautification projects across the state.

2. Policy Implementation related to urban aesthetics, greenery, and environmental sustainability.

3. Coordination of Staff and Departments within the Agency to ensure smooth operations and achievement of goals.

4. Liaison with Government and Stakeholders to secure funding, support, and inter-agency collaboration.

5. Enforcement of Beautification Laws to prevent unauthorized structures, street trading, or defacement of public spaces.

6. Promotion of Public Awareness on environmental beautification and proper maintenance of public gardens, parks, and road medians.

7. Initiating and Managing Projects such as tree planting, flower beds, recreational parks, and monument areas.
