Female Architects of Nigeria (FAN), Kano Chapter, Distributes 850 Packs of Sanitary Pads to Senior Secondary Schools for World Menstrual Hygiene Day.

On May 28, 2025, the Female Architects of Nigeria (FAN), Kano Chapter, distributed 850 packs of sanitary pads to Government Senior Secondary School Kofar Kudu and Government Senior Secondary School Dala in observance of World Menstrual Hygiene Day.

During the visit to both schools, the Chapter Chairperson, Arc Jamila Usman Hussain, MNIA, delivered a lecture on personal hygiene and the significance of World Menstrual Hygiene Day. The event also featured Arc Amina Ahmad, MNIA, Director-General of the Kano State Urban Beautification and Landscaping Agency (KASUPA), who emphasized the importance of environmental cleanliness and participated in the distribution of sanitary pads to the students.

The visit was attended by members of the Nigeria Institute of Architects (NIA) Kano Chapter. Arc Salim Bashir Umar, MNIA, Secretary General of the NIA, took this opportunity to present a career lecture to the students at GSSS Dala.

In his closing remarks, Hon. Abdulmudallib Mansur, Senior Special Assistant on Secondary Education to the Kano State Government, expressed appreciation to FAN for their efforts.
